About 35 Palestinians were martyred and dozens of others were injured in an Israeli bombing on a camp for displaced people northwest of Rafah , in the southern Gaza Strip . The Civil Defense in the Strip said that what happened was a full-fledged massacre, noting many cases of amputations and severe burns, and the victims were women and children as a result of the camp massacre. .
The Ministry of Health in the besieged Strip announced that the Israeli occupation forces committed a new massacre in the camp, which is located in a supposedly safe area and where there are tens of thousands of displaced people.
The camp that was bombed is located in the Tal al-Sultan area, west of the city of Rafah. Sources reported that a large number of bodies of martyrs and wounded, the majority of whom were children and women, arrived at the Tal al-Sultan clinic.
Eyewitnesses indicated that the bombing led to the destruction and burning of a large number of tents in the Rafah camp, which is not located within the area that the Israeli army demanded to be evacuated in the city of Rafah, where thousands of displaced people reside.
Al Jazeera's correspondent said that ambulance crews were unable to recover the charred bodies following the Israeli bombing of the camp.

For its part, the government media office in Gaza said that more than 30 people were martyred as a result of the Israeli bombing of the displacement camp.
He added that the occupation army bombed more than 10 UNRWA displacement centers during the past hours, and that the targeted displacement areas and centers were areas considered safe by the Israeli occupation.
The Gaza Media Office confirmed that 190 citizens were killed and injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted shelter centers in the Strip during the past 24 hours.

The government media office urged the International Court of Justice and human rights organizations to pursue Israeli war criminals.

The Emergency Committee in Rafah said that there were dozens of martyrs and wounded in the massacre committed by the occupation by targeting the tents of the displaced, despite its claim that they were safe.
She added that fires caught fire in the tents of the displaced as a result of the Israeli bombing of the camp, stressing that the massacre committed undermines all the occupation’s claims that there are safe areas in Rafah.

As for the International Committee of the Red Cross, it said that its hospital in Rafah is dealing with an influx of wounded people who suffered severe burns.
In turn, the Civil Defense in Gaza said that it had transported 50 of the wounded and the bodies of the martyrs as a result of the Israeli bombing of the displacement camp northwest of Rafah.
The Civil Defense confirmed that the area targeted by the Israeli occupation, northwest of Rafah, contains 100,000 displaced people.

In the first reactions to the new massacre, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that the occupation army committed a heinous massacre against the displaced people west of the city of Rafah in defiance and disregard of the decision of the International Court of Justice.
Hamas demanded the immediate and urgent implementation of the decisions of the International Court of Justice, and pressure to stop this massacre.
It also appealed to "all parties, especially the brothers in Egypt, to pressure the occupation to withdraw its army from the Rafah crossing."
Hamas held the US administration and President Joe Biden in particular fully responsible for this massacre.
In turn, the Islamic Jihad movement said, "The massacre committed by the Zionist enemy northwest of Rafah is a war crime added to the war crimes of genocide."
Islamic Jihad said that targeting civilians in the camps for the displaced in Rafah confirms "the depth of the military failure suffered by the enemy."
She stressed that "the enemy is targeting civilians to compensate for the failure they suffered in the field."
The Jihad movement said, "The enemy's continuation of its crimes in the Gaza Strip comes as a result of the cover provided to it by Washington and European governments."
As for the Israeli side, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that the army confirmed launching an attack targeting Tal al-Sultan in Rafah, and that the details of this attack are under investigation and examination.
Israel continues its raids on Rafah despite the International Court of Justice issuing - on Friday - new temporary measures demanding that it immediately stop its attack on Rafah, keep the Rafah crossing open to facilitate the entry of aid into Gaza, and submit a report to the court within a month on the steps it has taken in this regard.
Since May 6, Israel has launched a ground attack on Rafah, and the next day it seized the Rafah border crossing with Egypt, closing it to the crossing of the wounded and already scarce humanitarian aid.
The war on Gaza left more than 116,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and about 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of children and the elderly.
